Baylor 101 Benefits

Being a part of a dynamic and growing organization means that sometimes it is important to go back to the basics. That is the idea behind Baylor 101. You may have questions about areas of the University’s operations, ranging from what will be in that big building being constructed at the corner of I-35 and University Parks to why can’t we simply tap into the University’s endowment to fund strategic priorities. Baylor 101 is intended to share insights and information on topics of interest to faculty and staff in easy-to-consume, brief updates throughout the year.

Who: All Baylor Faculty and Staff

What: Conversations with various University leaders who will address topics of interest and take questions.

When: Monthly (except December and summer months). Our first Baylor 101 is Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 1-2pm and will focus on the Baylor WellBeing platform, including the upcoming administrative transition of the Baylor Health Plan to UMR/UnitedHealthcare.

Where: Baylor 101 sessions will be held virtually for your convenience and provide an opportunity for viewers to easily ask questions. We’ll archive the sessions online in the event the times aren’t convenient for you.

We are developing upcoming Baylor 101s focusing on understanding the endowment … the Board of Regents … construction projects … Baylor as a Christian R1 university … and the Baylor Admissions process, including a sneak peek at the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center.
