First Take with the First Gent

Prospective families looking to have any final questions answered ahead of the Nov. 1 application deadline will have an invaluable opportunity to discuss the full scope of life at Baylor and what it means to be a part of the Baylor Family.  First Gentleman Brad Livingstone returns for the second iteration of First Take with the First Gent on Thursday, October 27, at 7 p.m. CT.

Prospective students and parents are invited to this one-of-a-kind Zoom call, with the First Gent offering his top five reasons prospective students should choose Baylor, answering questions, and detailing the immense opportunities and network of support that Baylor gives students during and after their time at Baylor.

"Over the last couple of years, we've tried a lot of virtual event offerings, and this one is a crowd favorite," said Julia Bales, Baylor's senior director of undergraduate recruitment. "Prospective families love the Livingstone family, and we're so excited to have Brad answer their live questions about the campus experience, application process and what it's like to be a part of the Baylor Family."

Livingstone will be joined by Vincent Phillips, Baylor's associate director of campus experience, covering topics ranging from intramural sports, outdoor adventures in the Waco area and advancement through research or internships, to building relationships through fraternity & sorority life and multicultural student organizations.

Students are encouraged to reach out to Admissions@baylor.edu with any questions leading up to the event and the First Gent will be ready and eager to answer questions and welcome prospective students to the Baylor Family.
