The Revolution's Poet: The Political Poetry of Phillis Wheatley

Baylor alumnus Matthew K. Reising, who serves as assistant professor in the School of Civic Leadership at the University of Texas at Austin, will speak in the Treasure Room of the Armstrong Browning Library & Museum on Phillis Wheatley's poetry and the influence of the natural law tradition on the American Revolution. The session is sponsored by the Alexander Hamilton Society at Baylor University.
