1776 and More!

Join History and Theater Arts students in the Mabee Theater of the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center in the original "room where it happened" as they reimagine the Second Continental Congress and debate the pros and cons of declaring independence. History students will portray various founding fathers and provide historical context, and Theater Arts students will perform selections from the musical "1776!" and other patriotic music. Together, they will prepare us all for the coming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence later this year. Everyone is welcome to attend! No RSVP or tickets necessary!
