Reminders for Returning Students

May 6, 2025

Dear Students:

As your spring semester at Baylor University comes to a close, please pay careful attention to the five items below. These are important reminders as you prepare to return to Baylor in the fall.

Register Now. If you have not already done so, be sure to register for next semester. Even if you are unsure of your plans, by registering now you can hold your spot for fall classes.

Account Holds. If you have any holds on your account, the staff in the Success Center and One Stop Student Financial Aid services are prepared to help you. It is crucial that you respond to any messages you may have received and talk with someone as soon as possible.

Summer of Discovery. In-person and online summer classes can help you catch up or get ahead. And summer tuition is reduced – saving you money as you go. Registration is open for all current students. To find the courses and sections that best fit your schedule, see Baylor’s schedule of classes.

FAFSA. The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is used to determine your eligibility for federal and state financial aid such as grants, scholarships, work-study and loans. Next year’s FAFSA is open, and you should complete it as soon as possible if you have not already done so. Baylor's FAFSA® School Code is 003545.

Financial Assistance. Baylor has increased the pool of need-based financial aid to provide assistance for returning students with demonstrated financial hardship. Information about fall financial aid will be sent to students in early June. If you have questions after you receive your information, please contact One Stop at (254) 710- 2611 or baylor.edu/sfs/contactus.

Have a wonderful and safe summer. We look forward to having you back at Baylor next fall.

Sic ‘em, Bears!
