Starting in the Spring 2025 semester, the University is introducing one day of asynchronous instruction to ensure all students receive the full academic experience required by higher education accreditation standards. This spring the asynchronous day will fall on Saturday, April 26. This approach supports the necessary 75 instructional days each semester, including 70 classroom days and five final exam days, while accommodating Baylor holidays such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Spring Break, Good Friday and, specifically, the Monday after Easter.

As we prepare for Move2BU, Baylor University will CLOSE some campus parking lots and interior streets on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will impact all of campus, so be prepared for delays, detours and disruptions to normal parking/traffic flow.

When Baylor announced a new campus dining contract with Chartwells Higher Education last fall, the nationally known university food service provider made a commitment to delivering innovation and best-in-class service to the campus community. Nine months of partnership and planning have led to a revamped dining experience –  Baylor Eats, which is powered by Chartwells. This new partnership combines Baylor’s dedication to providing a top-tier campus experience that supports the well-being and satisfaction of the entire University community with Chartwells’s dining and catering expertise.

On Monday afternoon, the Baylor network experienced a disruption focused on Microsoft and Google-based resources. As of 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, all network services were restored.

Are you a Baylor faculty or staff member with a new vehicle or new license plate number? Or are you new to Baylor and will be parking on campus? As we near the fall semester, Parking Services says now is a good time for faculty and staff to update their vehicle information.

Beginning in August, Student Parking Permits will be available online. In order to park in a campus parking facility, students must purchase a parking permit annually. Groups of students will be able to select permits on a staggered basis – beginning with On-Campus Residential Students – according to the dates outlined below.

WACO, Texas (Jan. 26, 2024) – Baylor University announced today that five vendors have been selected as the University’s new campus facilities services partners, effective June 1, 2024. What is it?

For incoming students, think of Baylor’s Initial Aid Summary (or IAS) as a financial aid projection. The information in your IAS is based on your CSS Profile. The final deadline to submit the CSS Profile is February 1. Completing the CSS Profile before this deadline lets you be considered for the maximum amount of aid. The sooner you fill out the CSS Profile, the sooner you’ll receive your IAS. The final deadline for the CSS Profile is February 1; however, if you submit the CSS Profile after the final deadline, you will be considered based on any remaining funding.

Federal financial aid is undergoing a major overhaul with a redesign of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. FAFSA is undergoing a simplification process and will now open by January 2024.

The University continues to acknowledge Mental Health Awareness in the month of October and highlight the many resources available to students to support their mental wellbeing. What do students do when they need support but don’t know where to go? Baylor’s Care Team sits as the first step for getting help. The team of case managers connects students to resources both on and off campus and offers holistic, relational care.

The columns are more than a striking architectural feature, though; they represent a deep symbolic connection to Baylor’s history while providing a unique technology-rich and interactive experience for the entire Baylor Family.
