Discover Baylor at Fall Premiere
Making your college decision can be full of hard choices, and that’s why Baylor is here to help. On Saturday, October 25, we’re rolling out the green and gold carpet for Premiere, our all-day open house event where you can get a firsthand look at what life is like as a Baylor Bear. We’re expecting more than 4,000 visitors, including high school juniors, seniors and prospective transfer students who are considering Baylor as their future college home.
Beginning at the spectacular “front door” to Baylor’s beautiful and vibrant campus – the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center – Premiere provides opportunities for prospective students to learn more about academics, admissions and financial aid processes (in English and Spanish) plus an up-close look at what makes our campus life so vibrant. Registration is available on the Baylor Premiere website.
At Premiere, prospective students will:
- Learn more about potential majors and areas of interest;
- Hear from the University’s world-class faculty members who will show students the best of what Baylor has to offer as a Research 1 (R1) Christian university;
- Tour Baylor’s award-winning campus in Waco, Texas;
- Hear directly from staff about the admissions and financial aid process; and
- Get the latest information from Campus Living & Learning, Multicultural Affairs, Student Activities and other areas of Baylor Student Life.
Since this event takes place over the weekend, visitors have access to certain facilities that are closed to the public during the week - like model rooms in residence halls and the McLane Student Life Center.
At Premiere, students can expect to attend academic sessions in the morning held by each college and school at Baylor, followed by a department social from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The department social is a new addition that allows students to speak directly with faculty and staff after learning more about their possible majors during academic sessions.
Register now for Baylor Premiere and experience everything Baylor has to offer!
