A time to express gratitude for the people and blessings in our lives
From the smallest of joys like a steaming cup of coffee in the morning to the delight of friends, family and others who invest in us, A Season of Thanksgiving is a call for the Baylor Family to join together in an intentional time of thankfulness. Throughout the month of November, there will be activations on campus and content across a variety of communications inviting us to slow down and express gratitude for the people and many blessings God has given us.
About the Season of Thanksgiving
If you are on campus, stop by one of the Season of Thanksgiving tables, write something you're thankful for on a sticky note, and attach it to the gratitude board. Each week, you'll find a different theme to consider, although you're invited to share even the smallest of joys in other areas of your life.
Alumni, grad students, family and friends who are not on campus are invited to share their notes of gratitude online. We’ll transfer your notes to our gratitude boards.
Near the end of November, the panels will come together to form an exhibit in the Hurd Welcome Center that reminds us all that even in the busyness of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season (and all year long), it is important to slow down and appreciate the blessing of life – large and small.
