Season of Thanksgiving Acts of Service
During A Season of Thanksgiving, the Baylor Family also is encouraged to find a way to show their gratitude. Thankfulness can be shown through small actions and through hands-on service. Below are 10 ideas to get you started.
- Send a text to a family member or friend thanking them for their care and support.
- Reach out to a friend you have lost touch with to share a note of encouragement and reconnect.
- Hold the door open for someone as you go throughout your daily activities.
- Compliment a colleague or a classmate on their presentation.
- Leave a positive review for a local small business you frequent.
- Write a mentor or faculty member a note of thanks.
- Pay for the coffee order of the person in the drive-through line behind you.
- Pick up the leftover coffee cups or drinks after a meeting or class and throw them in the trash.
- Slow down and let someone merge in front of you in traffic.
- Offer a compliment to a service worker.
