Faculty & Staff Chapel (rev)

Dear Faculty and Staff:

As part of President Linda A. Livingstone’s campuswide Spiritual Wellbeing initiative, Baylor University will hold a Faculty & Staff Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Paul W. Powell Chapel at Truett Seminary.

Leading this Chapel service will be Hannah Coe, senior pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Waco, and Randall Bradley, D.M.A., minister of music and worship at Calvary, as well as The Ben H. Williams Professor of Music, professor of church music and director of the church music program and the Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor.

As faculty and staff pursue their personal faith in ways that enrich their families and overall wellbeing, this initial Faculty & Staff Chapel complements both that personal spiritual growth and Baylor’s mission, where faith is central to who we are as a University and how we prepare students for a life of leadership and service in the world.

To explore the needs and opportunities for additional programming that will nurture the faith of faculty and staff, President Livingstone recently established a Spiritual Wellbeing task force that will initiate programs that arise out of that exploration and make further recommendations for ongoing activities by May 2023.

In addition, Baylor will bring the fall semester to a close with the annual Lift Up Your Hearts service of prayer and worship for the Baylor Family at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in Paul W. Powell Chapel at Truett Seminary. A complimentary luncheon will follow at noon in the Paul and Katy Piper Great Hall. Registration for this event will open soon.
