Funding Your Baylor Education

There are so many ways to make a Baylor education fit your family's budget. Most students do not pay the full cost-of-attendance "sticker price" and are able to fund their education through  a combination of various scholarships and financial aid options.

Merit-based Scholarships

  • Award from Baylor based on a full review of your high school academic record and completed Baylor application file
  • Automatic consideration! No additional application required.
  • Apply by Feb. 1
  • Award amounts vary
  • Notification date based on decision plan

Financial Aid

  • Award based on individual and/or family finances
  • You must submit BOTH the FAFSA and CSS Profile to be considered for federal and institutional need-based aid
  • Priority deadline is Feb. 1
  • Award amounts vary based on results of FAFSA and CSS Profile
  • Notification date based on decision plan

Specialty Awards

  • Award from Baylor based on student interests, activities and/or academics
  • Separate application and/or event participation might be required.
  • Deadlines vary by scholarship—apply now as some deadlines are soon!
  • Award amounts vary. Many can be renewed each year.

Outside Scholarships

  • Award based on resources from local businesses and organizations
  • Separate application required. Your high school counselor can help you apply.
