Finish Strong Before The Deadline
Baylor's final application deadline is February 1. If you're still working on your application, here are some tips and tricks to make the process just a little bit easier!
Tip #1: Required Items
Frequently check your goBAYLOR account to ensure that you have submitted all mandatory documents required to review your application.
Tip #2: Recommended Items
Submit the recommended items. Your resume, two letters of recommendation and the short responses allow for us to get a deeper insight to who you are when considering your application.
Tip #3: Essay
We understand that writing the essay can be a daunting task. Here are some simple guidelines to follow to guarantee you submit the best version of your writing.
- Have a friend, family member or teacher proofread your essay to double-check for grammatical errors. When you have been looking at your own writing for an extended period of time, it can be hard to find errors. Having someone with fresh eyes review it for you is a great solution.
- Don't be afraid to get creative. Thinking outside the box can be challenging, but it will help you produce an essay that is the best it can be.
- Don't procrastinate. A good essay takes time and patience. An essay written at the last minute will not be as good as an essay you have prioritized and spent time on.
Lastly, contact your Admissions Counselor, who is standing by to help you and answer any questions you have about the application process.
